@twomuttswoodshop: Tack cloths will pull that fine dust off your piece and prevents them from coming back on when you do you reapply your finish compared to using a blower. Also, less crap in the air just means less crap into your lungs. This is also great to use for things like cutting boards, charcuterie boards or anything where you’re moving up in high grits. You’re pulling off left over sadust so you don’t have less to mess your final piece up.
