That linked video is why I had so few issues with my first Level 1 on Wednesday. Everything was in my clipboard pocket, and they didn't look twice. And my truck was plenty dirty too. Grateful for folks like y'all to learn from.

Physical medical cards are no longer needed, They’re automatically connected to your cdl in their system….but still nice to have just in case

If you travel be prepared to inspections. Drove a straight truck thru IL for a few years 5 days a week and got at least 4 inspections a month

I had a level 1 in Wisconsin about a month ago, he asked for my LLC paperwork when he found out I was a O/O. I didn’t have it on me but I had a picture. Def worth keeping in the truck.

Just got level 1’d in Columbia, TN. I keep a metal clipboard with my current BoL on the clip, and my past week or so inside as well as paper blanks and paper logs. I keep a three ring binder with all my license, med card, truck, trailer, insurance, company info, ifta, ucr, eld instructions, etc in it. I usually show the officer which section is what so they can take the whole thing to the cruiser. I can verify, 100% without a doubt, ATTITUDE MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE!!!!!

So I drive team. I got pulled around back for a inspection. My co-driver was in the sleeper. DOT made me wake him up for the inspection. I dont think that's right.

Hey I have a serious question lol. I’ve followed yall for ever since I can’t remember and I’ve gotten a lot of useful information from yall. I just finished running for my first time and was in the road almost 2 weeks. Which I’m fine with lol. But I’m running a dispatch service and l know how you all feel about dispatchers lol. But my question is. I made roughly 7k in 11 days before dispatch fees and factoring fees. I’m curious if dispatch is blowing smoke up my ass or if that’s actually decent for someone with a 2 month old authority?? Any advice is well considered. Thanks!!!!
