I run the same elbow on my truck, and driving mine in the winter did the same exact thing. I used mad acid off TikTok shop on the tip and it took all the rust off of it and made it look brand new again!

Quit tailgating and u wouldn’t have rock chips get it undercoated it’ll last longer and use better paint clearly ur paint is cheap I have a 2011 car and it has zero paint chips in the front driven through every Canadian winter since purchase

Aluminum Ford bodies are great for the winter because the both bodies themselves don’t rust like any every northern vehicle does. It’s weird the bumpers are still steel though

Should have undercoated the frame, floors, and suspension parts; very easy and cheap way to prevent rust
