@youarereality: People were taught to see Jesus as a one-time exception, but that does not even line up with his own words. If Jesus says “these things I do, you shall do also, and greater,” then logically he was not presenting himself as someone you could never be like. He was showing a state that could be reached. That is why “Christ” matters. It was not a last name. It was a title pointing to an anointed state, a realized state, a state of consciousness fully aligned with God. So the deeper point was never “worship me because I am different from you.” It was “follow me because this is what becomes possible when consciousness remembers its source.” And that is exactly why religion had to turn him into an unreachable exception. Because if people realized he was the blueprint, they would stop kneeling from separation and start actually knowing God from within.
