$5 adds up tho. if i’m paying for every uber (and no one else offers) im asking for my $3 every single time. if u go out once a weekend for the semester at $12 each way, that’s $288 a semester and $576 a year. if everyone takes a turn paying for uber then its fine, but expecting your friends to pay $500 a year on ubers without offering to chip in is plain rude.

One summer i hosted all my husbands friends and was serving dinner and drinks etc and i asked one of the guests to bring ice because we ran out and he was arriving late and he asked me to reimburse him $12.36 meanwhile i am serving ribeyes like i was appalled.
