this is why restriction alone will not protect children. we need to teach kids internet safety and media literacy so they can and know how to act.

My 10yo just went to a bowling bday party, half the kids sat in a corner scrolling their phones. It was such a bummer. No phone for her, but a smart watch to call in emergencies.

My son is 11 going on 12. Alot of his friends have cell phones. & There’s a huge difference between the ones who do & do not have one. My son won’t be getting a phone until AT LEAST 13.

I got my first flip phone at 10 years old. Nowadays as soon as they can work YouTube the parents give them an iPhone 😭

there was a kid (7) at the park with an iPhone 17 pro max. like wtf !? my oldest is 5 he calls tablets talkers (aac) we use leapfrog for learning and entertainment. he will not be getting a phone until 13 like my husband and I did.
