And see, you lost me at bestseller. Because most times the books that I like are not bestsellers. They should be because they 're really awesome, but they're small, independent authors that haven't hit it big or their authors that do hybrid publishing. And everybody goes, oh well. They're traditionally published difference between traditionally published and hybrid. Because hybrid, you have to do your own hyping. Yes, they give you help and may front your audiobook. But everything else is on you. You still have to deal with getting the artwork. The editing riding it doing the art reader's. That's all on you, publisher, doesn't do that. They just put it out there and they don't even push it very much. One of my most favorite authors is a hybrid publisher. And she does not get a lot of people buying her books, but she has produced a 116 audiobooks, and I think either the same or 1 or 2 more in eBook and physical so yeah, that's why you lost me at bestseller, because technically she's on the bestseller list, but nobody knows about her Lexi. Blake, if you want spice, that's an author to get books from

I wish I could afford to be a hardcover only girly. I mean who the fuck thought it was a bright idea to bind books in flimsy cardstock, it's fucking stupid. you know what I want to make blacksmithing a useful job again so I can have hand Forged book binding. make all my favorite books sturdy enough to take a goddamn bullet for me. those are the kind of books I want to keep.
