This is misinformation. You don't need to chase the pump to build muscles. Pike pushups are for front delts, pseudo planche pushups shifts the load more to your front delts and diamond pushups shift the load to your triceps over your pecs. Also, regular pushups target your lower pecs and decline pushups target the upper pecs.
