everyone has so many opinions about coachella and the festival. just say you cant afford it. 549. for 3 headlining shows for artists I wouldnt see otherwise seems worth it to me.

The price is a lot can’t lie but if you love music and they have various artists you love it’s worth it, I got to see about 10 artist I love and discover new genres I love for $600

Yeah, because if Justin Bieber were to go on tour rn, scalpers would buy up all the tickets resell them for 1000s of dollars. If you got Coachella tickets at base price it’s worth just to see headliners alone not even mentioning the other artists

They don’t charge whatever they want. They charge based on operating expenses such as fixed and variable expenses with each artist demanding a fixed price every year.

GA is a great experience for people there for the music. It’s expensive for sure, but it’s worth the price compared to what I’d pay for individual tickets to see each artist I get to see at Coachella. You just gotta manage your expectations and make the hard decisions about who you want to see, but worth it.

I’d argue that it’s still very much dependent on the lineup because weekend 2 last year never sold out and it was the first time in over a decade. That affected them so much so they released the line up MONTHS early this year in order to fully sell out.
