A girl in our friend group never dated but always had a boyfriend we never met. From 10th grade up. There was a science teacher, late 20’s, who would party with us and even get us fake ids . We’re from a small town, like one stop light and I graduated with 89 people in my class and we came from 3 different middle schools. It’s weird we didn’t know her bf. That’s how small the town was. Anyways, this teacher would literally yell at her for wearing a short skirt at the club he got us in. I asked her multiple times about him but she never let it slip. One month after graduation that got married and had a baby. They are still together. This was in 2012.

yeah, upsettingly it happens way more frequently than people think, and the fear struck into the student causes them to never speak out. it’s terrible.

my mom had to give a heads up to a new teacher bc they would ask students for hugs goodbye at dismissal. while THAT teachers intentions seem to be good nature, you never know. always say something

There was a high school teacher who got arrested for the same thing, her husband was also a teacher/coach and their daughter was in the same grade as me. It all happened when I was in 6th grade, We’re in a tiny town so it was a big deal they had an assembly about it and then no one was allowed to discuss it after that day. I remember being out sick that day and being so confused the next day and not getting any info about what happened because the students weren’t allowed to talk about it
