@drabs90: 👶 Understanding Your Baby's Position in the Womb Every soon-to-be mother is curious about what her little one is doing inside! As you approach your due date, the baby’s position becomes very important for determining the type of delivery. Let’s look at the three most common positions shown in the image: 1️⃣ Breech Position (Pelvic): In this position, the baby’s head is up and the buttocks are down. While many babies turn on their own late in pregnancy, some stay in this position as the due date nears. 2️⃣ Transverse Position (Lying): This is when the baby lies horizontally across the womb. In this position, a natural vaginal birth is usually not possible, and medical intervention is often required. 3️⃣ Cephalic Position (Head Down): This is the ideal position for a safe and natural birth. The baby’s head is down near the birth canal, ready for delivery. 🤰 Do you know your baby's current position? What did your last ultrasound report say?
