@milanasarenac: EP 19| SALES 101 - here’s the one sentence you can use to get people in a buying state - that requires zero pushing. #businessowner #salestips #businessgrowth
The best part about the theory of sales is that it doesn’t work in practice. Those examples were completely unrealistic and devoid of any ability to close.

You have just helped me understand how this works. Thank you!! I can recognise myself in all the categories - I’m seeking continuous improvement and have def bought courses to achieve those skills / new identities. I’ve always wondered how easily I got convinced but I’m also driven by levelling up and my life has levelled up each time! Some courses may not have truly lived up to the expectations but then again I took it as a sign that I know more than I give myself credit for. I’ve been contemplating venturing out myself and the sales side has always kept me stuck. I think you’ve just helped me see a pattern that I can work with which is based on honesty and best intention. Sometimes sales gets a bad rep and can be seen as unethical but as I am also a frequent customer I can also attach to how those courses will help people so thank you for helping me understand the approach that does not feel pushy - immediate follow. Can’t wait to learn more from you.

If someone tells I’m am a person who makes fast decisions, I’d cling to my money and run as fast as I from their booth. Sorry that’s not a compliment

If your offer is perfect, and my identity is I need to think it through, then if everything is perfect I'll buy.
If you try to reframe me, I'll go somewhere else.
I've experienced this, it doesnt work with me.

The best sales "technique" is social proof as in if you become what you are selling because of it

I love this and I do this with the yoga teachers I coach. I speak to the higher version inside them even if they don’t feel like that yet. I see it; they just don’t see it yet. 🧚

the technique is OK. the wording a bit wrong. these statements the buyer has are BELIEFS, yes you can change them, changing identity is a bit harder than you think.
what you are doing with your label statements is putting filters. works if they already have the belief of in fact its on their identity and you manage to drop a belief that was on the way.

I think you’re also talking about people who are not used to be courted or sold to. This might work B2C, but not enterprise B2B.
