I dont agree on an Age limit to stop driving... but i Do believe after retirement age, you should have to take a re-test every 1 or 2 yrs and i also think eye test results should be passed on to DVLA (or US equivilent) if deteriated.

I do believe after 67 people should retake their driving test it's a fair way to tell if they're still ok to drive. it's wrong to say no driving after 65 because the majority of people of this age are still more than capable of driving safely.
