@jollibeard: Repotting my Alocasia Infernalis… she basically made that decision for me 😅 She outgrew her pot and started draining the reservoir way too fast, so it was definitely time for an upgrade. We’re switching her from a semi-hydro mix (perlite + Fluval Stratum) to straight zeolites in a larger self-watering setup, more stable, better nutrient buffering, and still plenty of airflow for those roots. And if you haven’t seen one before, this is Alocasia Infernalis, aka Black Magic 🖤 Those deep burgundy, almost black leaves with that metallic sheen?
