@madscientistofmuscle: You'll never guess what I call these... All jokes aside, these actually work GREAT for brachioradialis (forearm) training at home. My forearms were on fire after a few sets of these. Adding some real tools into your training toolbox here! Clearly, you'll need a little "home gym" equipment to do these. I've got a regular claw hammer with 20 lbs worth of 5 lb plates just put on the handle. I've got work gloves on because the loose plates actually dig into the hand a little bit as you're doing the exercise so I just took that out of the equation. When you have the hammer in the bottom position, you want to keep it tilted up just a little to keep the plates down by the base of it. To replicate this in the gym, you could potentially grip onto an empty EZ curl bar like a hammer of if you have a loadable dumbbell, just load one end. The more of the bar is above your hand, the leveraged resistance you'll get. I'll have to shoot a video of that at some point. --- Want to bring up your arms fast? Do THIS...
