@newsnexussa: Uncle to appear in court following alleged assault on minor A 56-year-old Dobsonville man, Tshepo Ntsimane, is due back at the Roodepoort Magistrates' Court on 14 April 2026 for a bail application after appearing on a serious charge involving a 12-year-old girl last week. The incident allegedly took place overnight on 3–4 April 2026. The young girl had visited a home in Dobsonville with her aunt and a younger friend to cook, as they had no electricity at their own home. It is alleged that Ntsimane arrived at the property later that night in an intoxicated state. He is accused of giving the child a drink that caused her to feel unwell, after which she was allegedly r...ped. She was later found in a distressed condition inside his office by witnesses at the scene. A medical examination was conducted, with findings consistent with the alleged incident. Evidence was collected which was found at the scene. Security camera footage from the property has been seized, and a witness also recorded video evidence inside the office.
