As a chef with 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I can offer you the following tips: Significantly reduce your menu (200 dishes is simply insane) and register on a food delivery app. Make sure to offer enough vegetarian and vegan options. Why? If in a group of 10 people there are 1–2 vegans, you risk that the entire group may choose not to come or order because of the vegans.

I'm not qualified, but this everything I've learnt from Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares. 1) Cut menu down big time, items that are fast to prepare 2) Focus on good quality ingredients 3) Cook everything fresh, not frozen 4) Jazz up the interior for a more modern crowd you're welcome...

I am from Edinburgh but haven’t been here before, I have looked at ordering from you on a delivery app before but you have no meals for 1 (you have banquet options for 2-5 people though) so maybe adding a smaller meal option for one person would open up other potential customers too 😊

I opened a restaurant last year, things are going well! We have 6 starters, 8 mains and 6 sides. People don’t need too much choice. Instead of doing 200 things, do 20-30 and make them incredible.

You better watch kitchen nightmares & bar rescue. Get the menu down to a workable size, maybe even figure out a hot new menu item that is a good grab & go? Or whatever you feel is needed for that area you’re located in, change the room & linen colors, make the outside grab attentions, & make sure everything is cleaned to high standards & use fresh food. You got this!!

It’s my personal opinion that with so many items on a menu how can it be fresh enough. Strip down the menu to most popular items which should also cut down on costs and food waste ☺️

(Rephrasing what I said on IG) - menu reduction will make the menu less cluttered, making it easier for customers to view and pick their food. When customers want to eat at a restaurant, it would be better to have a smaller menu - too much becomes overwhelming. The digital footprint needs increasing as well to be advertised more. For the appearance, even just some lights to put around the window by the entrance
