My husband is one of 4 and when we go out as a family we are a party of 16 even if places don’t have a policy like this we call ahead because we know we will be at least 2 hours.

They were *definitely* not out in an hour. Side note: this is why I don’t love reservations in small restaurants, because you sometimes end up leaving tables open for an hour to prepare for reservations 😬
