I mean the main assertion is not accurate they didn’t break encryption or security they simply used the system to read unencrypted data. Which, those apps should take steps to prevent this from happening else they can’t claim perfect encryption. This isn’t an apple problem, it’s an app problem. Now, apple should make this clearer and add some security and privacy protection to that database.
