Even if the banks use XRP for cross boarder payments, the fees are so low that it wouldn’t need increase the price of XRP. Neither would the burn rate impact the price of XRP. And with AMM for liquidity, there’s no need for banks to hold XRP. ETFs and RWA are the best chance for XRP’s price to increase. 80% of Ripple’s current transactions go through Ripple Net which is their messaging platform that doesn’t use the XRPL. This doesn’t use XRP tokens. XRP is a speculative investment that’s price is driven by us, the investors and financial institutions ETF mainly. We’re helping fund Ripple’s growth and that’s why they won’t tell you the truth. Don’t rely on Brad Garlinghouse to do what’s best for the XRP army.

Even if all the XRP has been released by Ripple, the burn rate on XRP usage/transactions is so small that it doesn’t impact the price of XRP. There would have to a complete global takeover of XRP for it to move just based on transactions alone. You can’t rely on utility to move the price. XRP price is all speculative. Don’t believe the hype!
