@olive.jean.marie: Osteosarcoma rocked our world. We went from this goofy, sassy gal to limping for no apparent reason to amputation… in a matter of 2 weeks. Like, what?!? And to be honest with you, the the Drs, surgeons, and oncologists really did not do a great job of preparing us for what was to come and what recovery would be like. I lost my Kobe last September to osteosarcoma 💔. I rescued him from Texas and it shattered me to pieces when I had to say goodbye. The pain of that day is still raw. Truly a day that I will never forget. I miss him so much but his legacy continues ❤️. After my Kobe passed I remember reading about a clinical trial that was treating osteosarcoma in dogs with immunotherapy and it was showing promising results!! (I could be wrong). I hope you have many more years with your fur baby, and please cherish every minute!! ❤️
