I travel with 15 dogs (we train and compete in dog sports all across NA). It is definitely a challenge to find lodging. I really appreciate when hosts are appropriate with their pet fees. I go out of my way to bring items to keep the mess down to a minimum. This may mean only using a portion of the space/restricting my dogs along with my own cleaning supplies and furniture covers. I always go through before we leave to straighten and clean as much as I can even if there is a pet fee. Alot of hosts have been hesitant to allow us but my feedback speaks for itself. I hope other pet owners know grateful we are to have these options available to us.

I paid $100 for two dogs and was not told they had to be under 20 lbs until the day before we checked in luckily they are but I thought it was very unprofessional to have a pet friendly air bnb and no restriction listed anywhere and then to be suddenly told the day before there is a fee and weight limit

$65 for up to three pets, and $20 each for more for the entire stay. We have 2 dogs and 6 cats….we usually pay an average of $120 for each stay for just the animals. I agree with it because litter mess sucks even though we clean up as much as possible!

I’ve booked an air friendly air bnb and then gotten the rules messaged to me that say no dogs on the furniture. That’s pet tolerant not pet friendly there’s a bigggggg difference.

When we find places that accommodate the dogs we only book there and plan plan vacations around those places that’s how much people with pets go it’s smart because people will be repeated customers

Love this! As A person who uses Airbnb with two dogs those pet fees add up. We also don’t have big dogs very small and crate them so it never looks like they were there other then A few straw hairs around.

As a multiple dog house hole who loves to travel with their dogs thank you for making it multiple pet friendly. It’s hard to find good safe places that does not make it astronomically expensive to bring them and this gives me hope I can one day stay somewhere nice and know my babies are going to be able to come too.
