I like to keep a lettuce or two in my beds and let them bolt. They put out flowers for a pretty long time so they attract pollinators and they’re great trap crops. Bugs love to eat lettuce and it keeps them off the stuff I don’t want them to eat.

I saw another creator using a Q-tip to brush pollen off the male flower and brushed it on the female flower to pollinate it I just wonder if that’s really a thing
