This happened to me recently. I’m still so shocked and hurt by it. I simply said “I had a different experience”. They said they could give me more proof to why we didn’t mean anything. I declined and left. Why would I debate their subjective experience?

Can you do a video on FA “switching” I saw my FA ex while having a calm convo switch on me in real time. One moment he is holding back tears saying he loves me and still wants to find me later when he is better and the next thing he was telling me he feels nothing with a look of conviction. I stayed calm and soft and didn’t reply and just listened with compassion. It’s really hard to witness.

My FA wants to be friends only but he is not actually a friend to me. Everything is always on his terms and any time I try to just be a friend to him and reciprocate his energy as a friend only, he acts like I am proposing marriage to him or something bigger than I am doing. It's very frustrating and hurts, even for a securely attached person. But because I am, I move forward, detach from expectation, and let it go faster than I would have in my past as an anxiously attached person.

As a fearful avoidant I want out out out. I'm scared. There is danger. Unlike a true avoidant - i truly deep down want the person to STOP me or come back in for me quickly after. I'm healing, aware, and in therapy.
