horimiya isn't just fiction or just a story, but it's deeper, it connects with the watcher on a emotional level, it's plot and story are so deep that it makes you feel something within, it's so perfectly executed to the point you feel immersed into the plot and forget everything else. its different because it's relatable it connects with us as watchers because both miyamura and hori go through the same problems we deal with in real life yet they push through and it just strengthens their bins and in turn we feel proud yet we don't know what we are proud of. it's side characters are so well developed that everyone seems like a main character with their own story and everything is deliberate, from the fun and goofy interactions between friends their closeness and their struggles of opening up and pushing through insecurities to the thick romance where both MC's struggle with their emotions and problems wanting nothing but the best for eachother making them think less of themselves and that's why when they solve those problems it gives us a sense of relief . the way miyamura slowly gets comfortable with himself and gets more confident in himself with hori by his side makes us feel what we want in our own lives and that connects with us deeper than just some pictures on a screen. horimiya isn't just fiction is a masterpiece , carefully woven peak that keeps you engaged and kicking your feet like a kid as you forget your own problems and just sink into the anime itself.

i feel like horimiya pictures how it feels for multiple people in highschool, the different personalities in and out of school, the way their dynamics or groups work together to grow in a way. the different thoughts of multiple characters lives that people in the real world may be able to relate to. like for example, i like sakura because i can relate to her about her feelings for toru, she liked him but knew she most likely wouldnt end up with him. thats just how i see it tho!! 💕
