CPSTI here! You need to fix the top tether on the Britax. There can not be any red showing. When the tether is properly tightened the red with disappear as that knob will become flush with the anti-rebound panel. Also, Britax does not allow the use of seat protectors with their seats.

My toddlers both LOVE the new Britax Galaxy360. They relax and when asleep look super peaceful. I get it’s not for everyone - but we love it!

When people are saying it doesn’t have a recline they mean that you can’t sit it up, the recline is has is only to get the ball in place not to sit up or back more. Also if your top teather on the Britax attached, that could be affecting your spin

The recline isn’t for the seat itself it’s simply to make sure the base is flush with the seat.

The recline is so that you can get the correct fit for your seat. The actual seat does not have a recline. I have a 2.5 year old and she was laying almost flat compared to an actual infant car seat next to it.

In the Cybex the fabric behind her back (coming down from the headrest) should be pulled out in front of the other seat fabric. Looks a lot sleeker that way and more comfy for the back.

If you cannot achieve proper recline, the CYBEX foam block accessory or a tightly rolled towel or solid pool noodle can be used underneath the base
