Im born and raised in LA and the reason my wife and I moved to Boston was to start our own lives and enter a new stage in our careers. When you see past the beaches and sparkle of LA, its a pretty mundane and stressful place to live. Especially when you grew up here with compilcated family dynamics. Now we've lived in Boston for 2 years and absolutely love the change of pace, the walkable city, the weather (I love the cold), and being able to start our own lives. I dont think we'll move back to California for a long time 😁 Its a case of the grass always being greener on the other side

Something about Boston just makes my heart so happy that it’s worth the few miserable winter months. Especially knowing what summer and fall have to offer. Every time I leave, I always wanna go back. There’s just really nothing that compares

I mean, if you want to spend half your life driving between giant parking lots on 10 lane highways, the west coast is great. I’ll take a cold but walkable city any day of the week.

To me, it comes down to: How walkable Boston is compared to any city on the West Coast,the incredible architecture (most cities on the West Coast feel kind of soulless and location! I feel lik being on the West Caost feels soooo far away from major destinations. Also, can't beat Summer, and Fall in New England!
