Let me be honest. Understanding the body type is the first gateway to styling. Once you know the body you working working with then creating appealing silhouettes becomes easy. Secondly understanding the colour wheel. Which colours compliment and which oppose each other. Then lastly, creating a message a story - what should the outfit say - once these three basics are mastered you good to go. Pity am in South Africa but please do self research before letting a stylist define you. Play around with different clothing colours and cuts and take it from there. Find you in the storm of it all and then its easier
