What if during a few days of no contact, he came over to my house to fix my lights, put on my doorbell, left the lights on so I would notice when I got home… didn’t leave his set of keys or access card behind and all his stuff are still at my house. But he has not read my texts since Sunday …. Been dating him since August last year … like it happens every 3 months

what about when they block you after leaving WhatsApp open but wouldn't reach out to me but would reply if I msgd him.. then when I did reach out 5 weeks no contact just got a thumbs up to the msg.. sent another message 2 days later again a thumbs up.. then he blocked me..

Why are people with avoidant attachment often portrayed negatively? Isn’t their behaviour usually a protective response they may not even be aware of until later?

My avoidant husband of 19 years left a couple of months ago. I filed for divorce on Sunday. If I go no contact for a few weeks, he comes back to “temperature check” what’s going on and then pulls back again. It’s awful being with an avoidant and I feel sad for them and how difficult relationships are for them.
