Here’s an idea. A “hidden” QR code that every tech can access on the unit somewhere to add notes for either themselves or the next tech to save some time.

Happens at my job all time. A tech will go diagnose a unit, next day he will send a different tech to diagnose unit again. If he still doesn’t like it, he will send a 3rd guy out.

Had this on a geothermal heat pump. Someone else unwired compressor left wires laying in bottom of cabinet. Only way to service unit was to lay on top of unit. Threw disconnect. I came unglued on the manager for having other ppl service stuff we had a contract on. Cancelled contract
