i think his performance was so on brand with his current self and artists usually sing their most current singles and albums and sprinkles some of their hits just for a bonus.. it wasn’t like it’s a new thing they do. and you cannot just compare sabrina and jb since they are on a different level. it’s also like comparing a minimalist vs a maximalist in which both have their own charm

I loved it but I love a good amount of songs from swag my fav parts were the swag songs. So I was happy he did full versions of those and kept the old hits to small snippets. He’s already performed all his old songs so many times and he’s also already done back up dancers, choreo etc. I was happy to see him doing something different and I found it more entertaining. If he was just performing like how he used to people would complain about that too. I actually find an artist going up on stage solo to be more interesting because it shows they have the it factor. Charli xcx is similar she does solo performances and holds her own. I saw her live and loved it. If people think the only good performances are ones with back up dancers, choreo and crazy set designs then the artist isn’t very entertaining

Here's my opinions and thoughts on Justin Biebers Coachella Performance. Its a slow comeback. We have this person here who went through sooo much that we didn't think he was ever going to perform again. Especially after he sold the rights to his music. People should be grateful and happy that hes recovered enough to want to come on stage and perform and interact with his fans. Truthfully, him sitting there and going through videos on his laptop, its almost like he thinks of his "fan base" as his "friends." the way that he was talking and stuff its like he was talking to his friends. he seemed chill and happy. and best of all the people that were there got to see him on stage Live. Who would've thought this would ever happen again? Not many of us did. I think we expect more from celebrities because we are used to it. If I paid to see him in concert I would've definitely expected more from him but not at Coachella. The only thing I was surprised about is the fact that he singed Baby. For some reason he just seems over that song but it was really nice how he performed some of the songs that were being requested by people on his YouTube live
