Some of you may remember our Burrowing Owl story from a few weeks ago; the young owl was found after a close encounter with a fox and brought into care. After receiving expert rehabilitation with our partners at @SalthavenWestWildlife, this little owl has now been released back into the wild. 🌾 The footage may not be cinematic, but this moment means the world to us, and to this Burrowing Owl. Burrowing Owls are an endangered species facing severe habitat loss across Saskatchewan's native grasslands. The ranchers and land stewards who care for these landscapes play an important role in keeping these habitats intact for the wildlife that depends on them. This is what conservation looks like: a community coming together to give one animal another chance. And sometimes, you don't need perfect footage to capture a perfect moment. #LivingTogetherSuccessfully #BurrowingOwl #EndangeredSpecies #CanonCanada #NikonCanada
