Be carful with GLP’s. If you’re on thyroid meds, the GLP will screw your body up. Since the GLP has slow gastric emptying, that also means that the thyroid hormone you’re taking takes longer to metabolize through your body, so it stays longer in your blood, spiking more thyroid hormone which can cause hyperthyroidism and over medication. Those side effects can cause increased anxiety, nervousness, irritability, panic attacks, and insomnia. This is what happened to me, and I had to discontinue the GLP, I thought I was losing my mind, till I realized why I was feeling the way I was. So please do your research and talk to your doctor about the possible interactions of different meds you’re own while also on glp. GLP has the benefits of weight loss and reducing inflammation, but If you’re also taking other prescription meds like thyroid meds, that will cause long term negative affects if you’re not being closely monitored by your doctor
