Yep. I didn’t drink enough water today and just took a shower that was a little too warm and too long. And now I’m wearing my towel on the couch waiting for it to pass so I can make it to my bed without falling down the stairs.

I’m so happy to hear I’m not the only one who forgets I have POTS in between flares

This is exactly what my pots flares feel like and recently we learned it’s actually my blood sugar dropping really low.

I also notice since getting pots That my body is now extremely sensitive to everything like everything!! If I get jumped scared it physically hurts, if I get to excited or laugh to hard I feel a episode coming. It feels horrible.

I love your videos as someone with pots/eds/mcas/endo. I try to be really strict, but sometimes it’s hard when I’m trying to also be social and my friends are able-bodied and they don’t understand but I do need to be stricter with my sleep and my electrolytes and my meals because when I’m consistent, I definitely feel a lot better but there’s obviously other factors that contribute that I can’t control like the weather. do you adjust your electrolytes based on weather? I usually do, especially around my cycle as well.

The same thing happened to me a few days ago! I haven't had many symptoms for almost 2 months because I was so regimented with management, but ya know what I did? I didn't go for my long daily walk. BOOM. Sent into a flare that night. tachycardia, hot flashes, red face, nausea, air hunger. POTS is so dramatic when it literally doesn't need to be 😂😭

I would also love to know all the things that you found that have helped you. My daughter was just diagnosed.

Does anyone ever feel like they have flu like symptoms when they “over exert” also kinda feels like when you’ve been working out so much and are dehydrated

Sometimes I have really good days with little symptoms I think I’m faking my pots. Then if I stop taking my medications, all the symptoms come flooding back😂

Yes!!! I have dysautonomia (not POTS tho) but I’m in a bad flare and I’ve been having the worst dizziness/hungover type feeling for the past week and a half. I’m so sad I don’t wanna drop out of law school but I don’t know how I can get through finals feeling like this everyday😓I just keep crying. I’m praying it gets better

Omfg THATS A POTS FLARE?! Your description of feeling like you got hit by a bus and hungover is EXACTLY how I feel and I’m just now connecting it to times when I barely eat/miss meals and/or overworked w/o getting proper rest

That description is so real. I have to avoid any blood sugar drop, but also avoid too much food in my stomach. Once I get the Pots flare it takes ages to go away
