as a waitress, two seater tables are hardly big enough for 2 people, perfect size for one person. you have just as much of a right to be there and it's better for one person to take a 2 seater rather than a 4 seater

So in my opinion a four seat table is better as you have more space for the plates and can actually enjoy having the food served on the slide and serving yourself in extra plates so you can both share each other’s food
