Apparently Southwest made the overhead bins smaller, and the seats smaller too so people can pay more, which is totally ridiculous. I will never fly Southwest again, they were my primary airline

I just traveled recently and both times, I flew with southwest. I guess it depends on the state or city or whatever airport you’re flying to or flying from but I’m from New Orleans and they didn’t measure my bag. They only measured the weight of the bag but not the length of the bag. Like I said, not all airports do that in Southwest but from my recent trip, they didn’t measure my bag like this. They didn’t measure my kids bag like this. They only made sure that our bags was under 50 pounds. Maybe I got lucky I guess😂😂😂

I just wanna thank you. I only fly once a year. I fly Southwest from Love to Pensacola and with all the changes this year you have helped my anxiety level a ton! I fly tomorrow. This is the first year I’ll be checking a bag and I got out the measuring tape, Weighed it-I’ve done all the things that have put my mind at ease!!
