I think a more healthier alternative would be steaming fresh garlic, and letting it sit in organic raw, honey. The garlic absorbs the honey take a spoonful every day.

I remember as a kid my dad thought it was jam and would send me to school with pb&js but the j was this lemon ginger tea jelly😭 as an adult I laugh and can drink it now but as a kid I hated it so much cause it was not the strawberry jam I was expecting

Just juice and cut up a lemon, dice up ginger (a thumbs length if you want spice, half if you want it less potent) and boil it in a pot of water with 3 cups of water with a cinnamon stick. add honey to taste. much cheaper. you are welcome
