I have used rust converter for 40 years. Very successful. But the rust converter I buy $90 gallon is milking white after shaking. 1/2 hour after applying it turns the red rust into a dark green. Then 1/2 hour later it’s a very hard shinny black smooth surface. Ready for oil paint. Directions say to not remove the rust. My rust converter transforms it. Stops the rest from spreading.

Rust converter is magic in a can. If you get the right stuff. Personally, I use Ospho. Works great for me.

I guess this doesn't require any prep work???...Everyone knows it will keep rusting if you don't remove the rust first.

you have to grind or sandblast that rust or you will just make a blanketed frame cancer... looks good now but not for long

“ rust converter “ does not go on black, that’s just paint! Converter as it’s called is milky white and uses the rust as a catalyst to create a bond, the reaction turns it black.

That's awesome for the outside panels. You need a spray gun to get inside some of those areas. Otherwise it will just rot from the inside out
