@mrcapps: They see a teacher. They don’t see the early mornings, the late nights, the lesson plans rewritten for the 3rd time just to reach one kid. They don’t see the snacks bought with our own money, the quiet check-ins, the moments we choose patience when it would be easier not to. We’re not just teaching content. We’re building confidence. We’re modeling respect. We’re showing up for kids who don’t always have someone showing up for them. Some days we’re a teacher. Some days we’re a coach, a counselor, a safe place, a voice they trust.
