A landing page isn’t really a good test though. Something like a full app build where there’s no possible way to finish it in a single session without clearing context is where you need something like GSD

Breaking Curses :
I went out on a limb and tried to trust Claude's vanilla workflow for time and consistency's sake over GSD. Worst decision I've made since I started using Claude. Terrible execution of tasks, planning is full of gaps, and re-doing work is at an all-time high. If you are on Claude Max, GSD is the absolute BEST workflow methodology to use.

This is definitely not the definitive end all on this subject. there are many, many details and factors to consider that were not included from what I see. i use all these tools, and I can tell you some of them are better for other things than others. And claude it's definitely getting better. and so are the other tools when you put better models behind em. right now, cursor is by far my favorite. and you can put opus and clause right in cursor but I wouldn't do that, too expensive

But was it the same output? You have to test it on something with a measurable right answer. “Almost the same” could take 1m tokens to get to same. Can you try something with no visual component and complex?

Sounds about right. I tried GSD one night and it cost me $60 in API. I uninstalled it the next day.

Maybe I’m not using superpowers to its fullest but I don’t really use it because it can code. I use it because it helps me manage and multiple sessions. Also the confidence I could come back in a few months and know how to proceed. But also this could be a total waste of time

The main point is to do different tasks by different AI models (cheap vs. expensive). Did you test it? Number of tokens per AI model, not just total
