Sophie, I’ve only been following you for about half a year, but I really enjoy your content because I love fashion as well. I don’t want to ruin the vibe, but I genuinely don’t understand how people both visitors and artists can support the Coachella festival. I get that it’s exciting for many people to go there, especially if they want to see their favorite artists live. But how can you support the organizers with a clear conscience? There have been so many ongoing criticisms surrounding the festival whether it’s ethical concerns, environmental impact, or the values associated with the people behind it. At some point, I think it’s important to question whether the experience and aesthetic are really worth overlooking those issues. I’m not trying to attack you at all I just think that people with a platform, especially in fashion and culture, have a certain influence. That’s why I believe it’s important to at least reflect on what exactly we’re supporting and promoting, even indirectly.
