hi from someone who worked as ground crew, if you let the check in staff know they can organise an aisle chair, almost always the airline should have one on board or the ground crew might have one :))

absolutely agree with you! but you can ask for "aislechair" in the check in area. it's like a tiny wheelchair that fits in the airplane aisle so they don't have to carry you to your seat. Idk I find it easier this way!

I saw a video on here a few days ago of a mom talking about how her husband got super into working out and lifting weights after their daughter was paralyzed in a car accident when she was a teenager so that he could always carry her anywhere he needed to to keep the world accessible for her 🥲 this totally reminds me of that!🥰

I took this video as not the airlines not being able to help with an aisle chair, but rather that you’re surrounded by people who are able to help. If able i would rather have people I know help than strangers

omg I work as ground staff for an airline and we have, isle chairs, sliding transfer boards, eagle lifts ect for this exact purpose! I’m sorry this airline couldn’t be more accommodating for you🫶
