I mean I’m not the smartest person in the industry for a lot of things but if it was given “in cash” I would have said take it and keep but you put it somewhere safe where it will never get used that way depending on how long they stay with you til they move out when they do go to move out you can give them back the money that you were building up for them so in the end it’s basically a win win

Without discounting what she did, on what basis does she get to tell him what she did was harder? Both parenthood and running your own business take over so much of your life, they're frankly reasonable to call equivalent. The owner doesn't get to punch out at 5 and stop worrying about problems because the work day is over. And in the show he does allude to having to do some things he wasn't proud of when he was starting out. The only excuse I can give is he managed to shelter her from many of the issues he had to face and overcome.
