This just happened to me today, I feel like I'm too young to be losing him, I was planning to have kids early like 20-24 so he knows I can handle myself (im 14 rn) I regret not saying anything before I went to school because that was the last time I saw him and it was ofc just supposed to be a normal day for me but nvm. I wanted to grow up with him so he could see that I can take care of myself and I didn't want him to worry, and my biggest fear was always losing him and even when I had nightmares abt losing him I started crying and those were the only times I hugged him, I love my dad so much and I wish I could've said this to him too while he was still alive instead of hugging him in a cold black bag while sobbing

i regret not apologising to him when we argued cause of my mom and saying i loved him. i hate myself everyday cause of it. i wish i was by his side when he asked or in his last moments. i miss him like crazy. he was genuinely my person.

even after he passed, since he traveled a lot in life I began to imagine he just left on a really long trip and didn’t tell us anything so I’d expect him to show up at the door any day unexpectedly…. I’m still waiting for that day in my mind ofc. April 20th will be a year since he passed and I miss him so much ❤️🩹
