Would appreciate any advice and input!! My boyfriend’s dad passed away on his birthday a few years ago, so he’s never really been a fan of celebrating it but his birthday is around the corner. I’ve never had anyone close to me pass away, so I’m not really sure what the right approach is. He always says he’d love a handmade gift because he likes sentimental, personalized things more than practical gifts. I wanna do something thoughtful, but I don’t wanna do too much or make the day harder than it already is. I’m a huge gift giver but I don’t want to dismiss his feelings so I don’t know what to do
