This also happens to characters like Jean and it makes me so sad. Like not too long ago the official hoyo account posted fanart of Diluc and Nefer together and more than half of the comments were something along the lines of "Jean is going to be jealous." She wasn't even there and people are still boiling her down to a, quite frankly, mid ship 😞

I love and ship varcole but damn are these kind of people annoying asf.. Nicole is her own character and she is so much more than just a ship. I love Nicole sm and her personality and shes so coolll. I can see why a lot of people dont like SOME varcole shippers. This is why I set myself from the fanbase and focus on the ship itself.
