This happened to us, except they didn’t give us a new trash bin for two weeks. So we had like a massive pile of garbage on the porch. But they picked all of that up when we got the new bin

Just leave the bag out theyll know next trash run that sum dont add up (but do call ahead and ask if the bin was broken and being replaced or if they're changing out the bins)

I don’t understand the people who say to sue after minor inconveniences. Just call the garbage company, explain the situation, and they will bring you a new can. You don’t need to profit off of this…suing culture has gotten out of control.
