Yeah for real life because everyone has 4 shallots, miso paste, nutritional yeast, and fresh herbs sitting around.

just google the recipes his is full of odd things like saying shallots are necessary in his easy recipe compared to just like a small onion. nutritional yeast and things like that that are totally unnecessary

Looks great! what do you think would be a good sub for the miso? Maybe tahini?

I actually did have all this stuff, but I subbed a can of coconut milk for the heavy cream and added a boat load of spinach to wilt. So good!

as someone who makes chickpeas and beans just like this in different ways, if anyone wants a sub for heavy cream, cashew cream works too. I actually prefer the taste of it over heavy cream, specifically in recipes like this.

Hi, you accidentally put 1-3 tbsp instead of 1-3 tsp of red pepper flakes on the recipe

I just made this— absolutely delicious. If you don’t like back end spice, add less red pepper flakes. It was super easy. Maybe took me about 20 minutes and will be on our rotation

Why does every recipe have miso and nutritional yeast? Can there be a recipe without them for people who don’t have those on hand?
