It’s not just in Korea. It’s all over the world. It’s normal for newborns to have mongolian spots. Some call it birthmarks bcz it’s doesn’t go away. But majority of babies mongolian spots disappear when they’re like 1-2 years old

I had it as a baby… I’m mixed with Caribbean, Native American & European. Native Americans are originate Mongolia/Siberia though so perhaps that’s why lol
