@wfpusa: Imagine a dry desert turning green again — just from one simple shape. In the Sahel region of #africa, rain is rare. When it finally comes, the ground is often too dry to soak it up. That’s why communities are digging “half-moons,” small, curved pits that catch rainwater and help it sink into the soil, helping crops grow. 💧 With support from the World Food Programme (WFP), this work is helping bring life back to the land — and hope back to families.
