@intentional.anna: ADHD can feel isolating, debilitating, and like it’s constantly keeping you from unlocking your full potential. As someone who wasn’t diagnosed until my early 20s and had to build my own coping strategies along the way, and I really want this to be a space where I can share what’s helped, what hasn’t — and just be honest about how shameful and embarrassing ADHD can feel at times, but also how it doesn’t have to. Testing methods like the pomodoro effect, using tools like the @Opal app, writing everythingggg down — I’ve found so many things that have helped me and will hopefully help you too! I hope you’ll follow along :) #adhd #adhdcheck #adhdwomen #adhdprobs #adhdproblems

if you've got a racing mind or anxiety or adhd and feel stuck, please read Clear The Noise by Leona Vale. it did more for me than months of trying everything else ❤️

I hated the meds but now id rather take my adhd meds to work and be able to focus. Sure it makes me feel numb, wanting to die but i the silence in my head is nice.

I procrastinate for hours, then do one thing and feel truly drained of all energy, physical, mental, social and then want to do nothing else. It’s horrid.

people really don’t understand how deep it goes 🥲 it’s not just focus, it’s emotional overwhelm, burnout, feeling like you’re constantly behind no matter how hard you try. I remember feeling so drained every day. and my body felt off too—tired, bloated, just not balanced at all. I tried different things but nothing worked long term, it was exhausting. I felt stuck. then I saw people talking about Eat Like A Woman Protocol written by Loren Green in a forum. I gave it a try and wow—30 lbs gone, way more balanced, everything finally feels a bit easier. kinda crazy this isn’t talked about more
